Residential moving
Our moving service includes padding and shrink wrapping of furniture before loading it on the truck. This ensures furniture is protected from dents and dings. We do not charge extra for this service. Its included in the rates. Unlike other movers, we disassemble and reassemble beds, tables that need to be taken apart for ease of moving. We do not unhook or rehook washers and dryers. We do move them though. Expensive artwork should be boxed up. All valuables should be removed from the move.
Apartment moving
We literally move apartments daily. Be it from first floor to third floor, studio or high rise, we move them all. Most One bedroom apartment moves are carried out by 2men or 3men if there are lots of stairs or longwalks between apartment and loading dock. We do encourage customers to be ready on moving day. Our clock starts once the movers arrive and stops when everything is done. A deposit is required for all our moves. Deposit is not refundable if you cancel the move.
House moving
A typical house move is carried out by a 4men crew with a 26ft truck. It can take anything between 6-9hrs depending on how much stuff you have. Please ensure you are ready on moving day. Empty all drawers and seal all boxes. Resist the temptation to overpack boxes. Make it easier on the movers. Put books in smaller book boxes. Floor protection is the onus of the homeowners. We recommend the brown paper floor protector from home depot.
Currently most of our moves are charged by the hour.
